Holiday season is slowly approaching, but soon enough it should be here…

“Americans purchase around 7 billion greeting cards each year. If none of them contained any recycled paper, that would mean that more than 2.5 million trees were chopped down to produce them.”

Some things YOU can do to to stop this from happening:

  • Find greeting cards that are either PCR (post-consumer recycled) or cards that have been processed PCF (chlorine free)
  • Use an e-card instead of the traditional paper card
  • Tell your friend/family member your holiday wishes through a phone call

These small changes will definitely make a difference, so not only will you have something to be thankful for, so will all those trees;)
