Instead of going for your usual jog/walk on a treadmill or elliptical….

Try to head outdoors instead. If its nice weather out why not take your exercise routine outside. When you work out on an exercise machine you are using a lot of energy. If you go outside instead and run seven miles you can save 0.8 kilowatt-hours of energy. If you ride your bike five times a week instead of running on a treadmill for a year then you can save 160 kilowatt-hours of energy.
